Mr. Matthew Baker has been supporting Sweef Capital since its establishment on the development of its funds program. Matthew believes the focus of Sweef has significant meaning and impact. as sees the Nordics as being privileged; despite still being some way to go, the region ranks highly within the sphere of D&I and sustainability.’ It is therefore absolutely evident that we need to improve and roll out women’s economic empowerment far beyond small corners of the world. Investing in women led businesses in South-East Asia or in businesses that will assist women and girls within the region is therefore fundamental, will help achieve real and positive meaning, whilst concurrently aiming to deliver good risk adjusted returns.’ 

Matthew has a depth of experience in legal and asset management having worked in these areas for the past 20 years, since he first started his career at London based, magic circle firm Slaughter and May, Today, Matthew is a Partner and Chief Operational Officer at Kinnerton Credit Management. Kinnerton is a private debt manager that lends funds to construct affordable and sustainable real estate assets within the Nordics. Matthew has overseen the strategic expansion of the firm from Denmark to the wider Nordics, helping to develop and grow the business from an asset, process and investor perspective.
