Dr Pamela Ryan is an enthusiastic champion of Sweef’s mission to invest in women-led, minority-led entrepreneurial ventures in Southeast Asia as an economic and impact imperative.

For over 30 years, Pamela has held leadership positions in multiple international organisations, including Everywhen Capital, Tingari Silverton Foundation, Psychology Beyond Borders and Issues Deliberation Australia. As a psychologist, entrepreneur, investor, business manager, researcher and author she has long worked at the intersections of business, investing, impact, geopolitical and psychosocial arenas around the world. Her book, Impact Imperative: Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Investing to Transform the Future was an Amazon Best Seller in five categories, including Environmental Economics, Sustainable Development Economics, Sustainable Business Development, and Green Business; Axiom Business Book Awards Gold Medal 2020 Forbes Magazine Lead with Compassion Book List 2021. Pamela’s Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin involved seven years of ground-breaking, award-winning research on the psychology of decision-making in the US venture capital industry.
