Post-retirement, he served as a management advisor/board member at several corporations, technology start-ups, venture capital, and non-profits in Indonesia.

Julianto currently serves as Advisory Board Member at YCAB Foundation, founded in 1999, which is the flagship organisation in the YCAB Social Enterprise Group that includes several for-profit entities that offer products and services to emerging consumers including mission-driven microfinance to low-income women entrepreneurs, conditional upon their children’s enrolment in school. YCAB’s change model has one clear mission, which is to improve welfare through education and innovative financing. Julianto also serves as Independent Commissioner at PT XL Axiata Tbk, the third largest mobile telecommunications company in Indonesia, where their Sisternet program aims to improve the soft skills of Indonesian women micro, small and medium enterprises through free education classes with a target of digitising some one million Indonesian female MSMEs by 2025.

Julianto is a retired Managing Director of Accenture, with more than 26 years of management consulting, technology and operations experience, helping clients define and execute large-scale business change. He has served as Country Managing and Director of Indonesia, and in various regional leadership roles. He has lived and worked in Indonesia, the US, Germany, Singapore, and Malaysia.
