Singapore-based impact investment firm Sweef Capital is pleased to announce the expansion of its investment team with two new appointments in Indonesia and Vietnam as part of its continued growth and commitment to driving impactful, sustainable investments.
Fatika Akmaliana has joined Sweef Capital as an Investment Associate based in Indonesia. In her role, she works closely with the VP and AVP of Indonesia to source deals, evaluate investment opportunities, and support portfolio companies in developing and executing long-term growth strategies.
Fatika brings deep regional expertise shaped by a career spanning management consulting and in-house strategy. She has advised major conglomerates and state-owned enterprises across Southeast Asia, and led impact-driven initiatives such as employment programs for housewives during the Covid-19 pandemic and K12 education expansion to remote Indonesian regions.
Fatika holds an MBA from Yale University, where she was active in the Education Club and Social Impact Consulting Club. She also represented Yale in global impact investing competitions, securing second place in both the Turner Impact Portfolio Challenge and the T. Rowe Price Impact Investing Competition. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a major in Accounting from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
Phong Lam has also joined as an Investment Associate in Vietnam, supporting Sweef Capital’s investment strategy through deal origination, execution, and portfolio value creation. Working closely with Sweef Capital’s Vietnam Investment Director, Phong contributes to company assessments, market research, and impact measurement — aligning investments with both commercial returns and impact investment objectives.
Phong brings a strong background in corporate finance and transaction advisory across Southeast Asia. Prior to joining Sweef Capital, he was an Associate at Index Partners, a boutique investment bank focused on mid-market growth opportunities. His experience spans healthcare, consumer, and technology sectors. Earlier, he worked in financial due diligence at a Big 4 firm, advising on cross-border deals for private equity and strategic investors.
Phong holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting and is a member of CPA Australia.
