Idelle Yee
Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Analyst
Singapore
As Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Analyst, I play a key role in advancing Sweef Capital’s communications and impact strategies, with a particular emphasis on deploying the firm’s industry-leading Gender ROITM methodology in Southeast Asia. My work involves developing and sharing content and program insights that bring to life the firm’s investments and insights across the region, including Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Working closely with the Managing Director and the Head of Impact Measurement and Management, I support thought leadership initiatives as well as impact analysis and training, contributing to high-calibre impact management, monitoring, evaluation, and learning practices. I also support client engagement, fundraising activities, and partner training, particularly around the Gender ROITM tool, while contributing to knowledge management and the development of case study materials.
I bring to this role a unique range of experiences, from strategising communications for pioneering arts-based community development, to mobilising volunteers for subsidised healthcare in heavily stigmatised communities during a pandemic, and engaging in groundbreaking academic research at the intersection of political and cultural history. I am also a trained counsellor, and am actively involved in private practice and therapeutic initiatives that help build a more thoughtful, resilient community.
I believe very strongly that empowering women entrepreneurs lifts up entire communities, and am excited about the work of supporting them to sustainably and meaningfully impact their societies. At Sweef, I leverage my strong background in fostering creative ecosystems and driving inclusive initiatives to advance Sweef Capital’s mission of empowering women-led and gender-diverse businesses across Southeast Asia.
I hold a BA in English Literature (Hons. Distinction) from the National University of Singapore and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology from the College of Allied Educators.
