Fatika Akmaliana
Associate
Indonesia
As part of the investment team, I work closely with the VP and AVP of Indonesia to source pipeline deals, analyse investment opportunities, and support portfolio companies in developing and executing long-term growth strategies.
In my role as Investment Associate, I leverage my regional knowledge and strategic insight to help shape Sweef Capital’s portfolio. I began my career as a management consultant, advising leading conglomerates and state-owned enterprises across Southeast Asia on strategy and implementation. Motivated by a deep passion for impact, I later transitioned into in-house strategy roles, where I led initiatives including launching an employment programme for housewives during the height of COVID-19 and expanding an education product for K–12 students into some of Indonesia’s most underserved regions.
I hold a Master of Business Administration from Yale University, where I actively contributed to the Education Club and the Social Impact Consulting Club. I proudly represented Yale in several impact investing competitions, securing second place at both the Turner Impact Portfolio Challenge and the T. Rowe Price Impact Investing Competition. My interest in finance began early; I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, majoring in Accounting, from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
