Samantha Tedjosugondo, the Vice President of Sweef Capital, presented as a speaker during the Inclusive Business in Agriculture and Food Systems Regional Investment Forum, which was organised alongside the Sixth ASEAN Inclusive Business Summit  organised by the Government of Indonesia in collaboration with the The ASEAN SecretariatUnited Nations ESCAP and the OECD – OCDE on Wednesday.

Samantha Tedjosugondo was a speaker for Session 2: Measuring and managing the impact of inclusive businesses where she shared how the Gender ROIᵀᴹ tool helps businesses manage their practices and performance in various industries including agribusinesses and how it helps investors and entrepreneurs enhance gender equality, diversity, and inclusion within the portfolio companies and the organisation. This not only aligns with ethical and social goals but can also lead to improved operational efficiency, innovation, and overall business performance. She shared the stage with David S., Michal Gorczewski, Hassan HajamArtak Robert Melkonyan, & the session was moderated by: Maud Savary-Mornet, CESGA®.

On the second day, Alfie Othman, Sweef Capital’s Singapore Advisory member was a moderator during session 5: Nurturing Growth & Fostering Impact Ecosystem with Thu Hang Nguyen, Kirti MishraStephanie Arrowsmith, Gusti Ngurah Anom, Meg Phillips, & Noor Hafizah Rashid.

The session revolved around establishing an environment and utilising resources that facilitate the expansion of businesses, monitoring their progress towards inclusivity, and collaborating with other enterprises and ecosystem contributors to promote both inclusivity and meaningful outcomes.

The event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of United Nations ESCAP with the support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and in collaboration with the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of The Republic of Indonesia, including ANGIN who managed the matchmaking session between inclusive business models and investors.
