UNDP and Keidanren

Sweef’s Japan country advisor Junko Yoda and our managing director Jennifer Buckley recently joined an event in Singapore organised by UNDP and Keidanren, the largest business association among mainstream Japan companies, who hosted a sustainable investment event. This was part of Keidanren’s financial/capital market working group’s study mission composed of CEOs of member companies where they were meeting with leading financial institutions. The event was focused on sharing ideas on how the Japanese and Singapore investment community can work together on regional sustainable investment initiatives.

Thank you to Ayako Kageyama and Niloy Banerjee, UNDP for inviting Sweef Capital to showcase our first hand experiences in impact investment across Southeast Asia. It was a great honour to meet the representatives of Keidanren, Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Euglena and ANA and connect with members of the Singapore community, Chris Teoh and Alyssa Tay.
