Convergence

Convergence is the global network for blended finance, generating blended finance data, intelligence, and deal flow to increase private sector investment in developing countries. Their global membership is made up of public, private, and philanthropic investors as well as sponsors of transactions and funds. They offer members a platform to access blended finance transactions as well as exclusive access to tailored trainings and original knowledge products such as case studies and reports. To accelerate advances in the field, Convergence also provides grants for the design of vehicles that could attract private capital to global development at scale.

Blended finance is the use of catalytic capital from public or philanthropic sources to increase private sector investment in sustainable development.

Ms Buckley is a member of the Funding Committee of Convergence’s Indo-Pacific Design Funding Window, which awards grants for the design and launch of catalytic blended finance solutions in the Indo-Pacific region, focused on climate finance and gender equality.
