Having been positively impacting the world for over two decades with her works in impact investing, humanitarian aid, public policy and psychology, Pam brings to Sweef Capital’s Board of Advisors a unique dimension in the empowerment of women investors and family foundation transition from venture philanthropy into impact investing. Together the collective global knowledge and networks of the Board provide strategic direction, guidance and mentorship to Sweef Capital’s executive team in its mission of being a trusted flagship for quality investment at scale that improves peoples’ lives and showcases the potential of women and of Southeast Asia.

Jennifer Buckley, Founder and Managing Director of Sweef Capital said, “We are delighted to have Dr Pam Ryan becoming a valued member of our Board of Advisors. Her experience as a private markets investor coupled with her research into drivers of investment performance has informed her focus on women-led fund managers and investing in women. Sweef Capital shares Pam’s vision that investing with a diversity lens is not just the right thing to do but is an economic imperative”.

“I am honoured to be joining the seasoned Sweef Capital team led by Jennifer Buckley. We see Sweef as an exemplar of 21st century venture investing. The evidence around the globe is clear, repetitive and compelling: women in top management teams—whether a VC firm, a Fortune 500 company or a start-up—improve every bottom line: financial, social, environmental and governance. I have no doubt Sweef Capital will contribute to that evidence base in Southeast Asia!”
