Earlier this month, Samantha Tedjosugondo, our Vice President of Indonesia, attended Open Coworking Day 2024 hosted by Ruang & Tempo in Jakarta. It was an insightful day spent connecting with entrepreneurs and discussing how Sweef Capital supports startups and SMEs in Indonesia.
During the panel discussion, Samantha delved into Sweef Capital’s focus on empowering startups with innovative solutions. She talked about how Indonesia’s thriving ecosystem – bolstered by coworking spaces, accelerators, and various support programs – is fuelling the growth of startups and SMEs. Samantha also shared what investors look for: a large market, strong founders, and product-market fit. She emphasised the importance of networking and how building relationships within the ecosystem can unlock growth and collaboration opportunities.
Samantha also had the opportunity to mentor six driven women entrepreneurs during the Speed Dating session, offering personalised, actionable advice to help them take their businesses to the next level. It’s always inspiring to witness the passion and determination of these entrepreneurs. At Sweef, we are committed to supporting the startup and SME ecosystem, and it’s rewarding to be part of initiatives that help these businesses grow and succeed.
It’s moments like these that contribute to the growth of Indonesia’s entrepreneurial landscape.
