Dr Pamela Ryan
Advisory Board Member
Australia – US
I join the Sweef Capital Advisory Board as an enthusiastic champion of their mission to invest in women-led, minority-led entrepreneurial ventures in Southeast Asia as an economic and impact imperative.
For over 30 years, I have held leadership positions in multiple international organisations, including the Tingari Silverton Foundation, Psychology Beyond Borders, Issues Deliberation Australia, and now, the Everywhen Capital Group. As a psychologist, entrepreneur, investor, business manager, researcher and author I have long worked at the intersection of business, investing, impact, geopolitical and psychosocial arenas around the world. I have taught entrepreneurship at the McCombs Business School at the University of Texas in Austin in the USA, and the psychology of decision-making at the Australian Graduate School of Management in Sydney, Australia. My Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin involved seven years of ground-breaking, award-winning research on the psychology of decision-making (mitigating the risks of throwing good money after bad) in the US venture capital industry.
I am excited about the opportunity to work with the Sweef Capital team, who are uniquely poised and experienced to identify and nurture the next generation of entrepreneurial enterprises making a positive difference in Asia and the world.
